Liverpool tracking Athletic Bilbao midfielder Ander Herrera for January

With injuries also starting to mount up on the side, it is certain that they are likely to have a busy January transfer period. According to the Daily Mail, Athletic Bilbao’s young midfielder Ander Herrera has caught the eye of Liverpool.
While valued at £16 million the young player was massively impressive in the UEFA Europa League last season for Athletic and could prove a pricy but wise acquisition if he is allowed to achieve his full potential.

With the amount of midfielders that left the club over the summer a few more additions to the already strong up and coming group of youngster could prove a great asset to the side.
