He may be just past his teenage years but there is no doubt Manchester Cityâs 20-year-old Swedish striker John Guidetti is tipped as a future star by his club. Having just signed a new four-year contract in the last 24 hours, as announced by Goal.com, it is certain that the Eastlandsâ side is agreed that he is destined to make a name for himself in sky blue.
Although he is yet to truly have a run with the first team he is expected to begin making cameo appearances in the coming seasons. However, the true issue that could see him forced out in the following years is the existence of both Sergio Aguero and Mario Balotelli in the first team.
Both current senior players at the club are not too far advanced from Guidettiâs age, and they could see him eventually take his leave if offered the chance much in the way young Daniel Sturridge did a few seasons ago when he left for Chelsea.
