5 La Liga Players that would suit Arsenal in January

Spain may be facing an economic problem right now, but when it comes to football it is the exact opposite. Many feel that for Arsenal to win the English Premier League they must continue to call on talent from the Spanish La Liga.
Spain has produced some of the World€™s best football players to have pulled on an Arsenal kit. Cesc Fabregas, Mikel Arteta, and Santi Cazorla are some of those past and present. In the spirit of that thought here are five La Liga players rumored to be on the move and that could help to solve some of Arsenal€™s problems if they were to loosen the purse string in January:

Radamel Falcao (Atletico Madrid)

Although it must be mentioned, a move for Radamel Falcao is truly some of the biggest gossip all year.  It is almost as outlandish as asking Daniel Craig to star in a comedy. It will never happen. It is highly unlikely knowing Falcao€™s price range is over 40 million Euros.  More than likely Arsenal will not €œbreak the bank€ to spend money on such a gifted  player.

€œEl Tigre€ has surpassed €˜J¼rgen Klinsmann€™s record of 15 goals in a single annual international club football European competition by scoring 17 and has been linked with a move to Arsenal by the Mirror.
Will he go? Most likely not. He may not even go to Chelsea knowing their structure,  playing time issues, and ego issues. Manchester City? He would be the most likely replacement for Tevez but still no. In the premier league Arsenal would be the best choice for him to go because the club has players that would suit his style of play and the Gunners would give him enough spotlight.
If Arsenal were to land Falcao it could be one of the most transcendent buys of the century.

Fernando Llorente (Athletic Bilbao)

Athletic Bilbao forward Fernando Llorente is a monster in the air. Any cross available for a header will be his. Standing at 6€™5 feet he defines a central striker; Though the forward has not found a final resting place and Arsenal could use him due to lack of depth.  His ability might prove a possible buy for Wenger due to other Spanish blood on the team.
If Arsenal are to buy this striker this would cause egos to crash especially with the Frenchman Giroud who€™s has not yet found his scoring form at Arsenal despite scoring a beautiful goal vs West Ham. If Arsenal do not believe Giroud can find the 21 goal form which we last had seen at Montpellier, the club will have to look for another strike force and Llorente would be the perfect replacement.

Adrian Lopez Alvarez (Atletico Madrid)

Adrian Lopez is one of three Spanish players on this list linked to Arsenal in recent times by Metro.
Lopez is amongst the group of the young Spanish stars waiting in the wings for a place in their National Team. The talented wide player could be a great replacement for Theo Walcott knowing his style of play. He has started to improve his performances since joining Atletico Madrid last year.
He can play both out wide or up top, but would find plenty of competition in the Arsenal wing force with players like Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain. It€™s unlikely that Atletico would let one of its younger stars leave, especially in a season where they are trying to get back into the Champions league and make another strong run in the Europa League.

Isco (Malaga)

Could Arsenal steal another Malaga man? After a summer swoop for Santi Cazorla has proven so effective the club have been linked with a return bid for the young star that has emerged to fill the void at the Spanish club.
Isco is a young talented winger which could help fill the Theo Walcott’s boots is he decides to leave.  However, a move for Isco could prove more costly than some might think.

Marc Bartra (FC Barcelona)

Defender Marc Batra joined Barcelona from RCD Espanyol before the 2001/02 season when he was still very young, and immidiately joined the club’s famed training school La Masia when he was just 11 years old.   Since then, he has risen through the Club’s academy system, standing out as an elegant, ball playing center half.
He made his debut against Atletico Madrid in the league, and was then utilized by Pep Guardiola as a right back rather than his center half role.
Bartra has represented Spain at Under 18s, under 19s  with whom he took part in the European  Championships and the Under 20s, captaining them in a World Cup. He is also a regular in the Catalan national team.
Standing at 6’0 ft (1.83 m) He would be a good replacement for Thomas Vermaelen or Laurent Koscielny if they ever experience any injuries. He is yet another young Spaniard who would fit well on the Arsenal team due to his age and ability.
The Iberian Peninsula has been a steaming kettle of young talented players and will be influential in Arsenal’s success as well as many other teams.
